Ever heard the name Chris Kyle? No? Chris Kyle is well known as one of the greatest Navy Seal snipers who ever lived. Chris was born on April 8, 1974 and his place of birth was Odessa, Texas, USA. Chris was well known as THE AMERICAN SNIPER a warrior so great and fearless that he would leap of a rooftop and join the fight on the ground in a blink of an eye.
Chris was known by the enemies as "Devil of Ramadi". The Pentagon has officially confirmed more than 150 of Kyle's kills (the previous American record was 109).
Sadly on the date of February 2, 2013 Chris and his friend Chad Littlefield were shot and killed by Eddie Ray Routh at the Rough Creek Ranch-Lodge-Resort shooting range in Erath County, texas. Kyle and Littlefield were both armed with .45-caliber 1911 style pistols when they were killed, but neither of their firearms were unholstered or fired, and the safety catches were still on. Kyle was shot with a .45-caliber pistol, while little field was shot with a 9mm Sig Suar. Both guns belonged to Kyle.
Routh was captured after a short freeway chase, which ended when Routh, who fled the scene in Kyle's Ford F-350 truck, crashed into a police cruiser in Lancaste.
