Our strategy here has been to gain Steem as fast as we can, but it has been very slow. We're almost to 14 Steem now, after lots of posting, commenting, and careful interaction on the blockchain at least twice a day, for many months.
So it's sad to get a screen popping up when we try to do ANYTHING, saying "pay more if you want to continue". Using this site has real costs, it says. That's not what the signup page says... it invites people to become members so they can earn money by creating or viewing content. Almost the opposite.
I would ask "is anyone else having these issues?" but if you are, you probably can't leave a comment, or even vote.
If this posts, and you're reading this, just know that we're out here and you aren't alone. Hopefully they'll fix this issue soon so you can be seen and heard again!

Hopefully the price goes up soon, so my account starts working again. Getting the "BUY STEEM" popup is pretty upsetting.
Sunk all my savings into Steem earlier this year. I'm down over 90%, despite working full time on the blockchain. My 100% fully rested upvote is worth a colossal...

I could write a step by step booklet, for Steem to get, its game on track not its wig pushed back....
However no one would listen.
Its clear how everthing is coded and structured on this platform the question is. Why would that be? Can it be saved? Or are we just kicking a dead horse.
Obviously the ones who could benefit the most from this platform are getting discouraged and hurt the most. Emotionally and Financially.
Was this intentional or just the type of community they attracted from the start. With lots of Hype and lies they managed to spread this selfish behaviour...now just turned into perpetual bullshit...
However Karma is a real biatch!
Can things be turned around? Chances are less and less here.

Thank you so much, it DOES help. We have no way to add to this account other than to post and comment for upvotes, and the hard fork really made things worse for us. But now we'll be able to start making some headway again <3

There is talk of RC delegation pools coming, which would remedy this issue in theory (allowing bigger accounts to devote unused mana/RCs to small/new accounts). I hope it comes soon, it sucks that people are dealing with this.
Interesting workaround, sounds like a potential cause of more problems and unnecessary complexity. Seems it would be more efficient to fix the issue at its source instead? We'll have to see...
