Just when I was wondering who the big players of this platform are and where I can find them!
Personally, I don't think anyone should justify the way they use their own coins, but we should encourage creative and devoted content creators to keep up the good work. If the platform attracts good content creators who publish exclusive pieces, then it's going to grow a lot faster and gain popularity accordingly.
On the other hand, if lazy listicles receive huge amounts of coins just because the authors have plenty of followers and are part of an upvoting exchange arrangement, then we aren't really making a progress. I believe that every effort should be paid, but merit is the most important criterion out there. If you make 5 hours of research in order to write something thoughtful and well-informed, then you clearly deserve more money and attention than the average "Top 5 Movies You Should See In 2018" article.
Anyway, I'm just a rookie and I'm just starting out here. Maybe someday I will also have the pleasure to announce that my 1000th article has been published :)
