These words are a light. I have been in that position where I withdrew as soon as the money came. I am still desperate for money but I am understanding that investing will pay me in the long run.

So many of us on steemit are focused on the returns from other people's upvotes and curation. We have forgotten that an important role in business (steemit is a business) is to mind your business. You cannot expect someone else to do all the work to make you rich, while you write. If you believe strongly in the platform, you have to invest in it.

This is how I see it. It is a great business too as i have mostly free reign and get to meet and interact with many different people and their diverse ideas and perspectives on the world.
