Some days I get worried about having "The Perfect Post". I keep trying to remind myself that this is social media, and while we need to treat it with respect it also is what it is... Social Media not an attempt to find the best Author/Artist on the Internet.
This site will likely not be THE the solution to Greed and World Hunger. It's an experiment in Freedom, in negotiation and often a place to test ideas as well. For some it has been life altering for others it is just a place to have fun. It can be source to earn a living or a mild diversion, a place to put a message that isn't "mainstream" friendly. Some are building businesses and others are creating an audience.
Some are farming Steem. Is that different from "mining"? Does it matter?
We can debate it, but only time will tell.

Please make meaningless comments, Please post your links, Please follow4follow, Please say "nice post", Please make friends, Please engage with others, Please self-vote, Please rant, Please spam, Please make shit posts. Ive also wondered the same thing, and I know there are many who are extremely against it. I understand though that most people are here to make money and self voting is the only way for people who aren't good at posting or have never seemed to capture the attention of the whales.

I think Steemit is still discovering what it is, I also think that there will be many bad things, and many things to solve, but I'm optimistic about it and I think all this can end up in something better.
I think as long as you're spreading out your upvotes, nothing wrong with upvoting your own stuff. Gotta practice self-love too!

That's why we call we are in beta phase and being open source and decentralized many ideas will emerge in but the authority of individual to spam, vote, quality addition etc whatever will remain.

The whole world takes themselves to seriously! Always has, nothing good has ever come out of taking yourself to seriously besides the jokes other people make about you having a stick up your ass. I understand people who are witnesses focusing their time and energy on making steemit a better blockchain it does take the time and energy of a job to stay focused and not miss any blocks. So I get that they might want to quit their shitty jobs and start becoming more independent. What most new people here fail to see is the amount of time and effort put into that & think they can make a job out of a few comments and resteems.
More entrepreneurs the better, so I'm all for people being more independent, but putting all the eggs one basket while riding a bike down a gravel road is just not wise. It can be done, but very carefully!
I love that you are reminding people to have fun and if they have Fcks to give, give em' & if they don't have any Fcks to give that is OKAY too!!
I used to worry about my content & not having a niche per-say... But I came here to learn and have fun so I stick to that and it works wonders

Sometimes we want to create something perfect and when we think it’s perfect, others may not . This platform is very unpredictable
Actually steemit is a popular media but all are not completed yet. I guess better way to have various parts indeed fun part. This platform changing me lot and then leave from ma bad habits. I know my vote power not helped me yet, but in future will be more worth.

I sometimes worry about it, but I've basically made the decision a few months ago that I was going to make sure I post something everyday. Sure I'd prefer to be writing about eating out, making food, or playing board games or computer games every day, but some days that isn't what my body allows me to do. And sometimes it's just easier to write about what I've been doing.
I also decided that I'd upvote my own posts since I'm never running out of VP anyway, I may as well reward myself a little bit
