Hello there Steemians! I've done quite a lot of research on this platform to get to know the ins and outs of this platform. I've spend some time on the discord channel of Minnowsupport, on the official Steemit Chat and other discord channels to gather information. This blogpost is dedicated to get more followers.
I have a side note though: I've did the research but I don't look for followers myself. These tips can be quite handy if you want it to be so! I just make a blog posts and wait a couple of days so I'm not actively searching. But I'am engaging with others.
So let's begin! You’re a Steemian in need to get more followers for your wonderful posts? You want a wider audience because you have superb content to show or you have knowledge about a particular subject. Well, let me give you a few tips to get that follower count up and running!
Quality Content
Ofcourse. This is a given. Your content should reflect the knowledge you want to share with every Steemian here. Interest those people with good stuff and fun facts. Stay focused, serious and fun all at once. Write your content with care so that it is understandable and easy to read for people. They will follow you if they read some good articles you bring to the table. Give a well thought of structure to your blogs so that people can recognise your work. Stay consistent with the use of your headers and images.
Do not do the follow for follow
It’s a hype. You want some quick followers and show everyone that you have 1000 followers! But.. Why…? It doesn’t bring you more rewards or followers. Followers want to read the good stuff and don’t look at this number. Those follow for followers will not up vote your post, so why do it? You probably don’t like their content either because you haven’t read anything from them!
Get to know your followers
This is important. Engage with your commenters. If they take the time to write a well thought of comment that shows they really read your article, then do the same for them. They will appreciate it but also the rest of Steemit can see that you really care!
Get to know them and read their articles so that you can engage them on their blog as well. They will really appreciate it. You can also go to the Steemit Chat and talk with people there!
Quality Comments
This is mostly forgotten. Talk with people and engage in discussions about a certain topic. Comments can be upvoted as well so you rack some rewards and get the respect from your fellow Steemians. Don’t just say “Great Post!” But give some meaningful comment to them!
