RE: The Blessing of Rain

That does look like the rain we encountered when we were out and about. Apparently, though, it was only up north of us because the kids said it didn't rain here. It's been nice having the temperatures fall a little, but now it's more humid. Always something.

You all need it more than I think we do. No big black soil cracks anywhere here that I've seen.

yeah but it's nice not having to mow every week. We must have saved $200 so far this summer, at least, by only mowing a few times. but it's been raining for two days now so things are going to jump up now and look like Oregon!

Well, I guess we could get into a discussion about what constitutes rain. Is this a dust buster, a gully washer or cats and dogs we're talking about? :)

I could see where you'd be okay with not mowing so often. Where's the savings coming from? Fuel? That's a lot of fuel. Of course, it's a lot of landscape, too.

yes sir gasoline, the mower is a gas hog and it takes quite a few hours each mowing. the rain is a steady medium type with heavy at times. gonna be alot of flooding out there, not around our place but this clay can't handle hardly any rain so even a little causes big problems.
