First of all, we can't be a whale in just few months. Unless... We invest or we delegate.
When our accountt is approved what we do is to post. Even if I'm older than you as newbie, I'm still a minnow. You being a newbie we still have the standing the same, a minnow. Our reputation is only the difference.
I've seen a minnow who writes regularly and gone so fast after a posts or post did earned much. What happened? Well, expectation is sometimes is too high which is not. I think you write what you like the most. I know it's hard when you post that is not earning good. I encourage minnow to write and write because that is what we are doing here.
Always give the newbie a pat on the back if he/she is in your group when post an article. It's not up to us what will happen to our article once its posted.
Create an activity for the group if the new minnow is in the group. Make everyone participate in the activity so that everyone can be help to one another. That way if the dolphin or minnow did see the post and like the activity you've participated, chances he might give you an upvote!
There are many ways to help a newbie or a minnow who just signed-up for steemit and approved. Help them to understand what is steemit, how steemit will be a good way to be in it. How steemit will be their second family!
