What are the Healthiest Diets in the World?

A recent finding about diets around the world shows that people who eat healthy food and not too much or less of it tend to live longer.

A group of researchers studied the diets of people in 187 countries from the year 1990 to the year 2010. They discovered that some of the healthiest diets have a few things in common: they originally eat local food, seasonal foods and less of processed foods. They have a high intake in vegetables and seafood and less in red meat.

This diet has plenty of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, olive oil, and nut. This diet has small portion of fish and poultry. Food that contains read meat, salt and sugar are not recommended for this diet.

Especially people on the island of Okinawa live really long. This is because people living in Okinawa don't stuff themselves, they stuff eating before they get full.

In France, french people eat fatty foods but don't get fat or obese, they even live a long time. The reason for this is because they eat less.

Serving sizes in France are way smaller than those in Western countries, and plus French people do not snack.

The researchers have found out that these countries have another thing common: people do walk a lot. In addition to eating right and eating less, walking can help people live longer, they practice small frequent feedings to themselves and live healthier.
