I hate the age we live in where kids think it is easier to watch a movie instead of reading a book. It is absolutely terrible how I have to beg students to read a book instead of taking the easy way out. No wonder they can't spell, but they even have an excuse for that...spellcheck.... If kids would read more the world will be a better place.

Oh yes, yes, yes! Gosh and now with superior distractions from technology, less and less kids are actually READING a physical book. Mmmm... well times have truly changed a lot.
