We must never misjudge the importance of sport. Not just because it is good for our children but it has a wonderful effect on the whole world.
It started coming so clear when Nelson Mandela had the world cup here in South Africa.
We recently saw how South Korea and North Korea worked together in sport.
When these big events take place people from all over the world come together in the same place.
These athletes make friends and practice with other people who they never knew.
They also socialise and get a good impression from their knowledge they get from other countries.
So we must start thinking more in these ways as this is such a good thing to make people realise that all people are the same.
They may be from a different culture and have different ways of doing things, but they are all still just people who want to be happy and reach a goal.
I personally think that sport is one of the best ways to make life more understandable for every person.
They all feel proud and they represent their countries in the best way possible.
I have never seen anyone argue over a medal because they felt they should have it instead of the person who earned it.
They are all happy for one another even if they are not from the same country.
So if we can run our lives like it is in sport, more people would get along and not feel that the one is better than the other as here they prove their abilities.
Sport really brings people together instead of chasing them apart for some silly reason.
The bible says love one another and love your neighbor so here when we are busy with sport it is just the way things work and no person has a problem with another.
Would it not be wonderful if we all could live that way and just try and see the best in people instead of cracking everything down for their own importance?
To me sport is the answer to so many of our world problems as this can only bring people together and make us all very happy.
There will be less wars and fighting between countries and life would just be wonderful.
