Great text and I agree with a lot.
The whole thing has a dark side as well: I think some of the more dangerous ideologies of the modern era have been so successful by giving people the picture of some "greater good" they could serve instead of their ego.

yes, the "greater good" is an abused term, I agree. When it comes to humans psychology there is always to be find a darker side, that's for sure. I think it helps to emphasize therefore the bright side of leadership and to what one connects a good leader. From what I think we people have in general some good detectors but should more often listen to them.
