Hi @aquacy here. Many at times people ask, can i send you my sbd/steem so that you withdraw it for me since i don't have a verified bittrex or poloniex account. Well i say NO t that. Today am going to show you how to sell your sbd directly from your own account and get your payment on any mobile network in Ghana.
First off go to https://www.kraken.com and sign up for an account.
Now login with your newly registered credentials, which will take you to your dashboard. Now once there you select from the tab "Get Verified".
This takes you to another screen you will be presented with below image.
Now notice that there are range of Tiers there. This actually determines the limit of transaction you can make everyday.
You cannot make any transaction with Tier 0 and thats the basic Tier that a newly registered user has access to.
No worries, you click on enabled on the Tier 1 table and another screen will open asking you for your full name, country of residence and Phone number.
Click on submit and this will take you back to the Get Verified page with the Veirfy status against Tier 1 labelled as pending.
No worries, this takes between 2 to 5 min. After about 5 min refresh the page to and you will notice the verified status against Tier 1. Now lets begin trading.
Go to the "Funding" tab and select deposit. You select from the cryptocurrency you, in my case i will select Bitcoin.
Notice as newly registered user, you have to generate a new address. See image below.
Now copy the newly generated address and go to your steemit account wallet. Click on the currency you want to sell (STEEM/SBD). In my case SBD, this takes you to the blocktrade site.
You paste in the address you copied from the Kraken website and make sure to select the cryptocurrency you are selling to.
NOTE: Make sure blocktrades identifies the address as valid before proceeding.
Click on deposit address to submit transaction once address is valid. Once done, wait for about 10 to 15 min and go back to Kraken and refresh your dashboard. You should see success as status against the address you generate at the deposit page.
Now we are going to deposit it into our mobile money account. Supposing you have registered on ebitcoinics already. If not go to this page to sign up.
Login into ebitcoinics and click on exchange and select sell from the dropdown list.
A new page will appear asking for your country.
- You select your country and click on next.
- Select the cryptocurrency and select a payment method and click on next.
You will sent to a screen where you will asked for amount you are selling. You fill in your details. Notice that i selected Ghana as my country so money will be in cedis.
On the next page you will be given a bitcoin address to send amount you want to withdraw to. Now the tricky part. Always make sure you equivalence of the amount you want to withdraw in Bitcoin and send that exact amount to the adress given.
Now go back to KRAKEN and on the funding tab select withdrawal. Now click on add address and paste in the address given you in your order at ebitcoinics and give any description, in my case its moms address.
Specify the amount you want to sell and click submit.
Wait for about 20 to 30 minutes and refresh your redrawals page. You should see success as status. Now click on the transaction ID and you will get the image below.
Copy the transaction ID and go back to ebitcoinics page and click on complete order.
Now paste your transaction ID and transaction date and click on submit.
NOTE: This process takes 1 to 3hours to complete and from then you will get a message on your phone fro a successful transfer.

A great idea for a future post would be to shpw folls how to use changelley and shapeshift.
Those two plaforms are powerful and have many intergrations in the cryptoverse. Its also a good way to help do trading without being verified as a member of an exchange.

good work, but no need to use kraken at all, I don't know if they even let Africans join... They canot verify people without a passport thought?
So just use @blocktrades to sell steem/SBD fo Bitcoin or Litecoin or Bitshares etc
no need for @kraken lol
let's just teach people to use our OWN mobile money MTN exchange service with @kofpato @desmond41 @enockegbo1
it will be great, no fees no signups, just easy sbd /steem to MTN directluy!
Or use TheLitecoin Company which lets you send them LTC nd you get MTN Ghanian Cedis
so you go from Steem/SBD to Blocktrades to Litecoin to MTN
