Good job with this. I didn't know you could put browser games on itch.io. I have looked around on there a bit for games to lets play (or just play for myself) but they have always been downloads. Can the stars respawn after being eaten? My partner was going at one attempt on your previous version for quite a while and we were wondering what would happen when there were no stars left.

In this version stars will eventually run out. There are 2000 and no more are added.
The plan was to start the game with a black screen, fade in a few stars based on the activity of new posts on the steem blockchain. Then the game would keep adding more stars based on posts and skill of player to increase difficulty. The posts/reputation of poster would be used to decide properties for the stars, power ups and such. Something like that!
