Global Networks
They branch out,
Across the Earth.
Reaching many miles away from home.
Connecting one root to the next.
Allowing one plant to speak to another -
To meet each other.
Sending signals.
Saving species.
Absorbing nutrition.
Fueling fruition.
Following intuition.
Gathering information from other lands,
Weaving it all together -
Joining distanced hands.
They are the brave.
For it takes courage to leave all that you know behind...
Those you love the most...
Those that love you.
To leave it all for the strange world of the unknown.
Alone...
Yet discovering unity
