This is my entry
In the world we live in today, it is almost impossible for an uneducated person to thrive.
We can see a very good example in the story below.
The story below talks about a certain uneducated rich man who lost his fortune to his stupidity.
Sit back, enjoy yourself and read along with me.
The story goes thus:
There was once a rich man named Chief Obiego. He was rich yet uneducated and covetousness.
One day, Chief Obiego went to a bank to open an account. His aim of opening the account was not to save his money but to keep it away so that people would avoid begging him.
He requested for a cheque book to enable him withdraw his funds and the cheque book was given to him.
The Manager of the bank warned him to be careful with his cheque booklet so that people will not forge his signature and withdraw his funds and he agreed to do so.
Unfortunately, after about three days Chief Obiego misplaced his cheque booklet and went to report to the bank.
When the bank manager reminded him of what he told him, Chief Obiego said, "I am not a fool, I have already signed all the cheques, so they won't have space to forge my signature."
The bank manager was left in shock.
Education is the key to success in this century so my advice to parents is that they should put their all to see that their children get the best possible education.

Title: Chained
I stand at my window and stare
At beautiful wreckage around,
At suffering beyond imagination.
How did we come to this?
So deep we wouldn't pull out,
Even when offered help.
Maybe we gave up without knowing
Forgetting the struggles of leaders past
For now they've lost hope us
Even before we knew ourselves
Who will stand for us?
Who will pull us out.
