RE: Does 100 SP Still Matter?

in #steemleo6 years ago

Even at the l;ow value it has nowadays, it can still help. I came across a Venezuelan who opened an account early 2018 and only managed 2 posts during that period because of only having about 3 SP - and thus just a little useless RC. I delegated 35SP and within months she has a wonderful site going for her, and she is maybe earning more than me. I consider that the best reward ever for me.

What is peanuts to some of us, can actually bring life to the creativity of another.

That's awesome and I've done that a few times but those people flamed out. I wonder how to find some more of those people. I think that is best use of 100 sp but also the riskiest for some. There is so much greed here but if people stop to think that giving some steem away is the best way to protect their investment. I always felt that whales should divide up 1 of there votes and give out it randomly. !BEER

Mine was a child and I told her she keeps the delegation for as long as I see her make good use of it - plus I want to see lots of imagination. She may have had help from her parents, but she has tried real hard.

I guess it is also lck - for instance, a few weeks ago I offered to take back the delegation and send her a slightly larger amount for her to transfer to her SP and she said, "no thnaks", that she wants to concentrate on building her SP and making lots of friends. Luckily the Spanish/Ven communnities have encouraged her and are supporting her.

See? Miracles can happen...especially with children, when we show them that we trust them.

that's totally awesome! You should write about that story. It may inspire others to seek people out and invest in them.

No thanks. Not many people read my posts...they just use their vote bots to vote me and that is the extent of their involvement. Others seem to have the same problem, which is why I am soon posting my stories on a site I will create. There, only those who want to read stories will go (I will welcome stories from others...and if theirs are more popular than mine, so what?)
:)

I totally get it. This place is a ghost town. That's the real problem. People need to work together and promote the authors within the community and get that squared away before any real outreach will work. People don't get that.
