If it is an extremely small amount of bitcoin then I would consider using your coinbase to convert your Bitcoin to Dashcoin to avoid the large fees. I just tested this out and was able to send as small of an amount as 0.01 cents USD to my Steem acount. First, convert your Bitcoin to Dashcoin. Then, go back to blocktrades.us and in the send box, select Dashcoin, and the receive box, select STEEM. Where you previously pasted your ethereum or whatever address, instead, now put in your STEEM account name. Now, hit 'Get deposit address again.' Copy the address that it gives you and go back to your Coinbase account. Go to portfolio and to your new dash coins. Hit send, put in the new deposit address that you just got from blocktrades and send. Your STEEM will show up in your STEEM account within a few minutes.
