I had the opportunity to buy bitcoin back in 2011 and couldn't be bothered getting through the hurdles. It wasnt until mid 2017, 6 months after joining Steem, that things started to click and I began learning.

It was too hard for me to work out how to turn fiat into BTC, so i went out drinking with the money instead.
