Mein Weg zum 4. Platz beim Steemmonsters Turnier / My way to the 4th place at the Steemmonsters tournament (GER/ENG)

in #steemmonsters5 years ago

Hi Steemians &Monsters,

today I got my first good finish at a tournament, the "Kobold Mining Expedition" Novice League and No Legendary Summoners hosted by @steemmonsters, and even won some Steem.

I had some luck with an early registration at the tournament and could skip the qualifying round. Thus, I found only in the 2nd round of the tournament on my first opponent @vcdragon. Unfortunately I had lost the first round of the match due to a browser problem and fled the battlefield. In the second round, there were no problems, so I could set up my monsters for the next fight. We had a Mirrormatch, which went in my favor. Now the third and decisive round of the match was between us. We both chose Death Splinter, but my monsters had better positioned themselves on the battlefield and were able to defeat the arms of @vcdragon.

In the 3rd round of the tournament I hit @motherearthist. The first round of our match started with the rule "Taking Sides" with 17 Manacap and we both had sent our water splinters into battle, unfortunately my monsters were still weakened by fighting the last opponent and could not stand. In the next round my Frost-Giant woke up from his sleep and led the army and brought them to victory in the third round of the match.

The 4th round of the tournament started with browser problems, so my next opponent @willsaldeno won the first match without a fight. For the second match, I decided again for my water splinter to catch up with Lord Arianthus in the front line for the enemy attacks and win the victory for me. For the third and decisive battle in "Super Sneak", this time I sent my Army of the Death Splinter into the field. For this fight 2 powerful creatures should suffice and help me. So Zintar Mortalis took the Lord of Darkness at the forefront, followed by the Hydra into the all-decisive battle, and put down the opposing army.

I have now arrived in the fifth round of the tournament and have thus already come in the first 8 places. I have not gotten into any tournament so far and met @steelman here. Unfortunately, I lost the first match and my army is warmed up again in the second round and ready for battle. I won the second and third matches and so the quarter-finals were over and I moved into the semifinal of the tournament.

In the semifinals I met my endboss in this tournament @deathcloud. I could assert myself against him in one round, but unfortunately it was not enough to make it to the final and so I finished fourth.

But hey, I can really rejoice about a 4th place in the tournament and a lot of wonderful fights. Thanks to my opponents for the matches and the experience I gained here and congratulations to the winner of the tournament @deathcloud for 1st place!

A big thank you also to the team of @steemmonsters for the great game and its development, as well as hosting so many tournaments.

Greetings. Congratulations, you are a very good player, you deserve the position, you also defeated a very good player: @vcdragon, it is not easy to be in that position in any tournament, because they play the best in the world, also eo that has a great future in the top leagues , a council is to build a good team and raise, but you must have enough money, because if you do not go through displeasure like me, ha ha, I do not have complete equipment and that makes me lose many times without remedy. Lucky friend.

Thank you
I have lost so many games because I did not have all the cards. But it also takes a lot of luck to stand up against the top players and get ahead. But in the lower leagues, everyone is the same and everyone has a chance to progress even against the pros.
