This is my entry for the Steem Monsters Art Contest. I have taken inspiration from some of the cards in the game and created a character concept from scratch in my own style. The painting is created with Clip Studio Paint.
Here is a brief description of the painting process:
A rough sketch
Added basic color spots. A few highlights to indicate the light source
Added some details
More details. Made some changes to the shapes
Added some glow effect
Final result: A few changes, added particles and worked on the lighting
