Hi Steemians,
I've added an 'Upvote Calculator' to SteemNow.com.
You can use it to calculate the value of an upvote by entering any amount of Steem Power. This might be usefull if you want to buy Steem Power or if you want to know how much a vote from another account is worth. A vote from @randowhale for example. Or maybe you just want to know how much your upvote would be worth if you had 100% voting power.
How it works
- Visit https://www.steemnow.com and click the calculator icon.
If you don't see the icon, please refresh the page or clear your browser cache. - Enter any amount of Steem Power, voting power and the weight of a vote.
Real-time reward pool
The 'reward_balance' and 'recent_claims' in the window of the calculator are updated continuously. Nice to keep an eye on. I've explained these two values a few days ago in this post.

That is great tool because its mosty helpful to check rendowhale things before ask for vote. Ranowhale is working on it because someone we need to calculate that how much profits we will get if he vote with which voting power and which number of percentage. I like that new features adding on site and its ue
Good point of view. It's so useful and I check it everyday. Now, with this new feature it become more better.

Hi @penguinpablo! I got a question. I've used your new feature and it's amazing! But I've putted in my Steem Power and how it would be but it doesn't give the right amount. It says that with my current Voting power on 100% and vote weight on 100%, my vote is worth over $13. That's way too high. Then I check with my current stats that I can test and it says that my vote is worth $3. I can attest that this isn't true.
Can you elaborate on why it does that? :)
What is the amount of Steem Power you entered into the calculator? You currently have 37 SP. Your 100% vote is worth $0.01 if your voting power is 100%.
Ah. That explains a lot. I published all the numbers and therefore it got higher. Thanks for the clarification! It is a helpful tool for sure!

@penguinpablo, I actually just put up a post asking for help getting historical rewards pools, Recent Claims and vote_rshares numbers going back as far as possible. Do you where I could find that data?
I'm trying to do statistical analysis of how recent claims impacts payouts over time. If I can find a way to also correlate it to payouts that would be great to but I think that might be a stretch.
As far as I know there is no historal data of the rewards pool and recent claims publicly available. Maybe some users saved such data for themselves. Perhaps @elyaque? He posted a chart in this post, but I don't know where he got the data from.
Ok, thanks for getting back to me. I'll keep digging around to see if I can find more data.
