Mobile App Development - Frameworks Evolution (React Native && Native Apps)

Hello Stemians,
Speaking about how the development of mobile apps has changed in the last years can sometimes be an attractive topic to discuss and have your opinions on it.

There are two aspects of Mobile App Development - How Frameworks have evolve in the last years.
This can be seen by the Developer Perspective and Customer who wants the mobile app Perspective.

The Frameworks have evolve a lot, that's for sure. At first there weren't a lot of possibilities when you wanted to develop an Mobile App, and also the mobile apps were very rare.

  1. Being a mobile developer, when you have a proposal to develop a Mobile
App, now-days you have a lot of ways and wide use of technologies how to develop that app, and you have the one question on your mind – Which is the appropriate one?
  2. When you are a Customer that you want develop a Mobile App for your project or idea, now you think twice because we are between choices:
    1. Choosing Native Technologies
    2. Choosing Cross-platform Technologies

There are and have been a lot of Cross Platform Solutions for Mobile App Developing like Xamarin, Ionic, and new ones like Flutter and there is React Native

Cons of Using React Native for Mobile App Development

Is React Native the Right Technology for your App?
You should choose React Native only for these reasons:

  • Short Deadlines: You need the app very soon, so developing with React Native should be very faster, indeed
  • Reduce Costs: Very simple, for Native Apps you need at least 2
  • Very easy: Easy to learn and to understand
  • So Native: RN is more close to Native than other cross-platforms. Even it uses a lot of Javascript modules and libraries, it also can implement Native Modules

All developers that use React Native says: Is fun learning React Native, and great experience to work with it. Give it a try.

That's the reason why you should consider using RN if you want to develop n app, which need to be done in a shorter time, and without many resources but with the same greatness as Native Apps

Sincerely,
Gianni

Nice post bro! Maybe you can create a cool app for steemit! :)

On my to-do list is learning how to develop a mobile app. It seems like it’s challenging but a rewarding experience.
