Steemph.antipolofest a celebration of generosity and brotherhood
After a month of preparation, yesterdays occasion of Steemph.antipolo was a massive success at Rosalinda Garden Resort, Antipolo City. Attendees didn't just enjoy the new knowledge but also the bond between co-members. An event that something to be proud of and worth reminiscing.
Acknowledgments
Before anything else, we would like to give thanks to the people behind the event. First and foremost we would like to acknowledge Mr. Ruah Timario ( @ruah ) and Mr. Allan Kristoffer Larga (@toffer)as the founders of Steemph.antipolo.Without them, all of this will not be possible. We also would like to recognize Mr. Noelou Torres Mengua (@marou27), Mr. Paul Timario (@leonardo1967)and Mr. Michael Rodriguez (@cryptohurri) for their contribution regarding the expenses of the event together with the major donors who happen to be the 2 former gentlemen.
Thank you will not be enough for all your efforts. But still, we want to send you our sincerest gratitude. Such simple lads but with big hearts. May God shower all your generosity back with more blessings so you can help more people in the future.

Smiles recorded
Steemph.antipolofest was a long-awaited event. Antipolo Steemians was looking forward to meeting fellow Steemians from Antipolo, getting to know them and together learn new things about Steemit. This objective was successfully accomplished yesterday.
There were laughs all around and a lot of smiles which is more evident during the fun games and videoke time. Getting closer to people that will soon be part of your journey in Steemit is a perfect help for future plans and projects of the community.
The first thing for a group to become strong is by having a good communication with everyone and helping them have a continuous connection with one another. The best time to do this is as early as possible. The fest has become the vessel for this objective. As the occasion ends there were a lot of friendships formed inside the community that will surely won't start and end inside the community itself but will be part of the entire lives of the attendees. Shout-out to Ms. Karla Uminga (@kuminga) of Steemph.manila for gracing the event. Even though she is from Pasig she went to the event and join us in celebration.
The Food, of course
Food versus Attendees. The loser was the attendees. Thank you for the gentlemen mentioned above for your generosity of making the event happen. We were all tummy filled and were energized by the drool causing meal.
The Learnings
We were privileged to have guests from SteemPh Community. We are more than thankful that these busy people included us on their caravan list. Of course, we all learn new things and all our questions concerning Steemit were all answered. We are so fortunate that they explained it layman's point of view making it easier for everyone especially newbies to understand. Most of the members of Steemph.antipolo Community are new members. Thus, all the things we learned is an enormous help for our venture here in Steemit.
This couple was Ma'am Marceline Simon King aka @dandalion in Steemit world and Sir Red Dayao better knowns as @steemitph. We would like to recognize your generosity in spending your time, talent and treasure to educate us despite that you will not be getting anything about this. Thank you for imparting your hard earned knowledge and making it a lot easier for us to understand by conveying information to us at first hand.

Ms @dandalion discussed the basic knowledge about Steemit: from signing up to what to do first after approval of account towards the aesthetics of making a blog. The information about aligning photos lightened up the faces of the listeners. It is as if we found out a needle among the haystacks. Check out @steemnest about all this info and kindly upvote their very helpful posts.
On the other hand Mr. Steemitph shared to us the more technical side of @Steemph. He emphasized the significance of Powering Up of when and how to do it. He also discussed other helpful Steemit related features like Steemd, Steemvoter, Steemnow and more.
Together they clarified to us the meaning of a lot of things that boggles our minds: curation, cryptocurrency, the blockchain, upvote, resteem and the benefits of all of this. They also taught us a trick on how to earn thru curation. They also break our wrong beliefs of some info about Steeming. Aside from that, we gathered knowledge that will be very helpful to us in our entire journey towards being a content writer. Steemit became crystal clear to us and make us appreciate it even more.
They also shared to us other Steem connect applications, of what it caters for, on how to access it and how to maximize its purpose. Surely Antipolo Steemians can now post in Busy, Esteem, Steepshot, Dlive, Dtube, Dsound and Dmania.
The best information we learned about was about Phising scams. As of now, this is rampant in Steemit. It really scare us so much. In fact, one of our members was victimized by this fraud and loss all the products of her efforts. The main advice is to never ever click suspicious links on Steemit. On how to recover phished account and immediately stopping the spreading of the virus calmed our emotions regarding this unlawful acts. Vigilance and awareness is still a major need to combat this activity.
There is no school or workshop anywhere else for all of this knowledge. We are so fortunate that they were the ones who came to us to teach us and ease us regarding Steeming online. They should be paid for their efforts and talents but instead, it was otherwise. Our huge thank you Sir @Steemitph and Ma'am @dandalion. We lucky enough that your Caravan reach our beloved home city. May our good Lord bless all your efforts a thousandfold. You didn't just educate us but you gave us importance. Your effort and generosity are highly irreplaceable. Rest assured that we will apply all your teachings and will share this with more people possible. Kudos and all the best for you and your advocacies.
Final words
Steemph,antipolofest was not just the rightful inauguration of the community. Upon recognition of the much bigger community, Steemph, it was already a great achievement. But more to that this event was a medium for members to have a sincere connection with each other. To strengthen the bond of the members is one of the foundations of a strong community. Providing them with the education they need heightens the possible success of each member as well as the whole team itself.
The fest wasn't just all about learning. More to that was the brotherhood and a time to unwind together with family. After the event, the members are definitely rejuvenated in mind, fired up in the heart, at peace with the soul and recovered loss strength. We are so blessed to have a community that renders our needs. We are so favored of having generous founders who thinks for the common good. We are so privileged to have a bigger magnanimous community backing us up.
To sum it all up.Steemph.antipolofest is more than just a success. It is a celebration of generosity and brotherhood.
