Happiness

According to Google, "Happiness is that feeling that comes over you when you know life is good and you can't help but smile. It's the opposite of sadness."

Happiness is a state of joy, delightfulness or contentment. The "pursuit of real happiness" is something what our generation is looking, being search and different people feel happiness for different reasons.

What makes you happy? A simple question but if you will ask this question to different people, you'll able to get a lot of answers. From having materials things, like a new cellphone or gadget, a new rubber shoes or dress or clothes that you always wanted, or new toys for kids. For some, it's a feeling they have when they see their crush, the feeling they have when they are having a good time with their friends, family or loved ones. For some, happiness is eating their favorite food, having a long time for sleeping or watching their favorite tv show, kdrama or series online. For most adults, it's when they get married to the love of their life, being safe from harm, having good health or being able to travel to different places. The answers may range to temporary to long lasting happiness.

In our modern times, I think most people are having a hard time finding their source of happiness. They depend their happiness to other people or to material things. Which is the reason they feel so sad or devastated when a relationship has ended or they lost the thing they value so much. What people forget is, we have the power to create our own happiness. We have to be happy within ourself first.

It is easy to be happy when everything is going well and favorable to us. But during the hard times, that's where the challenge to be happy becomes so difficult. But always remember that, whenever we are doing something causes you happiness, we have to continue doing more of it. No matter how simple, always be happy even with the little things. And I think, no one ever complained about feeling too much happiness.
