NBA Power Ranking - Eastern Conference

In recent days we have briefly abandoned our journey within the NBA to focus on the beginning of the new season. After proposing a @themagazine chapter dedicated to the Eastern Conference power rankings, today we move on to the Western Conference!

  2. Los Angeles Clippers
  3. Los Angeles Lakers
  4. Golden State Warriors
  5. Utah Jazz
  6. Denver Nuggets
  7. Portland Trail Blazers
  8. Dallas Mavericks
  9. New Orleans Pelicans
  10. San Antonio Spurs
  11. Sacramento Kings
  12. Minnesota Timberwolves
  13. Phoenix Suns
  14. Oklahoma City Thunder
  15. Memphis Grizzlies

If in the east you had to choose between two teams for the role of favorite here the talk is much broader. Even more extensive is the talk for the fight to the playoffs where at least 12 teams will try to the last breath.
We @themagazine say Houston. The team is rough and has gone crazy to bring home Russell Westbrook in the summer.
Right behind the 2 losangelines that both have 2 couples never seen on the planet and who will try to fight for the title with all their might. Clippers slightly ahead because they seem to be more close-knit and with clear ideas.
Golden State should maybe be a few places further back in the rankings but 5 years of dominance won't be erased just because Durant is gone and Klay Thompson will be gone a few months. But important young people like Russell and Cauley Stein have arrived.
Three granite teams like Utah, Portland and Denver followed, making the group and the talent of some singles their key.
Dallas and New Orleans, with the energy and class of their youngsters, will be the outsiders ready to keep San Antonio out of the playoffs after nearly a quarter of a century.
The Kings have to look for the playoffs but this year the competition is illegal.
Minnesota doesn't have a lot of arrows on its arc but it has regained balance and tranquility, it will be a few chances.
Chances that are almost nil in Phoenix where you still hope to find play and youth growth.
Year zero for OKC and Grizzlies.

Se ad est bisognava scegliere fra 2 squadre per il ruolo di favorita qui il discorso è molto più ampio. Ancora più ampio il discorso per la lotta ai playoff dove almeno 12 squadre ci proveranno sino all'ultimo respiro.
Noi di @themagazine diciamo Houston. La squadra è rodata e ha fatto follie per portare a casa Russe Westbrook in estate.
Subito dietro le 2 losangeline che hanno entrambe 2 coppie mai viste sul pianeta e che proveranno a lottare per il titolo con tutte le loro forze. Clippers leggermente più avanti perché sembrano essere più affiatati e con le idee ben chiare.
Golden State forse dovrebbe essere qualche posto più indietro nel ranking ma 5 anni di dominio non si cancellano solo perché Durant è andato via e Klay Thompson sarà via qualche mese. Sono arrivati comunque giovani importanti come Russel e Cauley Stein.
Seguono tre squadre granitiche come Utah, Portland e Denver che fanno del gruppo e del talento di alcuni singoli la loro chiave.
Dallas e New Orleans, con l'energia e la classe dei loro giovani, saranno le outsider pronte a tenere fuori San Antonio fuori dai playoff dopo quasi un quarto di secolo.
I kings devono cercare i playoff ma anche quest'anno la concorrenza è illegale.
Minnesota non ha tantissime frecce al proprio arco ma ha ritrovato equilibrio e tranquillità, potrà giocarsi qualche chance.
Chance che sono quasi nulle a Phoenix dove si spera comunque di trovare gioco e crescita dei giovani.

Wenn man sich im Osten für die Favoritenrolle zwischen zwei Teams entscheiden musste, ist das Gespräch viel breiter. Noch umfangreicher ist das Gerede für den Kampf um die Playoffs, in denen mindestens 12 Teams bis zum letzten Atemzug versuchen werden.

Golden State sollte vielleicht ein paar Plätze weiter hinten in der Rangliste sein, aber 5 Jahre Dominanz werden nicht ausgemerzt, nur weil Durant weg ist und Klay Thompson ein paar Monate weg sein wird. Aber wichtige junge Leute wie Russell und Cauley Stein sind angekommen.
