On the 2nd of October 2003, BBC released a publication in which Nigeria was ranked number 1 on the list of the happiest people in the world out of over 65 countries that were surveyed.
Though our ranking has dropped to number 85 on that list in 2019, we are still the happiest people in Africa after Mauritius which is ranked number 1 in Africa and number 57 in the world.
In Nigeria, we love anything or anyone that makes us laugh. We would rather spend millions getting table for 4, 5 or 6 and staying in the V.I.P. sections of comedy shows than any other kind of event out there.
