RE: SteemPress 2.5 Update: Guest accounts, design improvements and dashboard for user settings

Very cool, guys. Thanks for your hard work. This has become a really amazing tool.

  • For registration, would it be possible to use the username for the site if they're not on Steem, rather than having them register another account with SteemPress? We want to grow our userbase anyways, so it really makes sense to have them register with our site in order to comment. This could also negate the need to use the WP comment section at all. That's the only reason we keep it. Otherwise, we'd just use yours.
  • In addition to the author being able to edit their footer, would it be possible for the hosting site to be able to add their own branding and any pertinent information at the very bottom? We'd like to have the link back to the original post in that section too, so we can edit it to fit consistently for branding purposes... and to make sure SteemPress remains linked as well. :)

Again, fantastic work. You guys really pulled this off nicely. Thanks for all you do.

Thanks for the great feedback and happy to hear that SteemPress is adding value to you guys!

For the first point, we're already on something that should accomplish what you're asking for. The main question is how we package it and make the experience seamless and easy for the user. It's a bit challenging to have it work exactly the way that you suggest, but I'm pretty sure the end result will be more or less the same.

The second point should be easy enough!
