Good day guys!

I just landed 2 hours ago from my trip in north Thailand - Chiang Mai

On this trip I realized one of my dreams to see Elephants as wild as they can be here in Thailand. This is not a Zoo or a elephant riding location - The family who holds those elephants rescued them from the tourism business and provides them now a area of 3 mountains and a big river. What an impressive experience!

Stay tuned until the weekend to read the full report :)

Best,
Chris

this is a beautiful shot @worldcapture, I am so happy that you took this shot of a rescue elephant, they are treated so badly in Captivity I wish more people would wake up to that fact and not support the elephant riding businesses in Thailand.

Thank you so much for stopping by @truckerlife-family - Indeed! We can not use animals for commercial businesses. Animals need to live free!

Exactly, my friend, exactly :) I am really glad there are so many people here on Steem who really respect and appreciate the nature. Hopefully, one day, there will be more of these people than those who only want to exploit it. Looking forward to that full post!

Yeah 100%. I really hope that those things will change soon but really don't think it will. At least we as individuals can do something and the more we are the better it will get. Cheers! :))

Oh Chris, this is such a beautiful capture! 😍😍😍 My son's dream is to ride an elephant. Hopefully someday we can visit Thailand and fulfill his dreams! 😊

Thank you very much :)) Just make sure to find a place which not abuse the elephants which isn't that easy unfortunatelly. When ever you are in Thailand leave me a message and I can tell you good places :))

Oh sure! I'll keep that in mind. Thank you so much, Chris. 😊

i would love to go and visit an area like this while I am in Thailand. Great shot.

Cheers! Yeah it indeed is amazing around there! Jungle and those fascinating creatures.

Whooaaaa..... Great shot, love it

Thanks buddy! :))

This elephant is very lucky! Nice contrast! Very deep texture!
