[New Players]
SteemQuest is an ongoing and growing RPG world here on Steem. New players are always welcome. Players can come and go as they desire, just let us know when you are leaving (say you are taking an IRL 2 week vacation) we will make sure your character is somewhere safe until you return (or Thunk may just cover you with leaves on the side of the road)
If you are New and want to join just reply to any active post with a character. I will create you a character card and add you

Quaid takes the helm and points the ship southward. He looks up and see’s Khan up in the Crow’s Nest. He thinks it is nice to have another Elf on board..
Grim manages to setup a galley in the lower deck. He is planning the evenings meals.
Thunk after loading the cannon’s heads down to the lower deck.
Thunk hears all the commotion and runs up to the top deck. Monster? Cannon? What’s going on? Are we under attack?
am moving to the front cannon on the monster side. getting ready it ready to fire . loading the cannon using 2 turns.
Thunk runs down to the deck with the cannons and sees Grim attempting to load a con on ball. “I’ve already loaded all o these. Just shoot the durn thing!”
aiming at the sea monster...lighting the fuse....BLAM @rolled20

@sidekickmatt Did you say cheese!! I don't have a bow so I'll surely trade you this fine set of Piercing Arrows.. Zur joins Quaid on the deck to exchange findings,..and have a glance at the Sea Creater everyone is making a fuss about...

Grim fires a cannonball at the sea monster and it explodes with an explosion of fire and steam !!
You hear a high pitched squeal and the monster dives under the surface of the water.
[NEW RULE] - partial cover -2 to hit (the ocean waves cause partial cover)
As the monster disappears a few fish float to the surface. They are quite large.
"Hey, lean over the side and spear those fish. We'll cook them up for supper!"
Thunk searches for something to fish wish. Net? Spear? @searchbot

"SEAMONSTER OFF THE STARBOARD SIDE???"
"To battle stations! Cannon deck get some muscle over to the starboard side! If you are looking at the front of the ship Starboard is to the Right!"
IC Knight: what should I do. My sword can’t reach that far ?
"Get close to the side! Be the eyes for the people below deck! Let them know which porthole the creature is closest to so they can point the cannons at it." Quaid thinks: Also you'll show us if the monster has a ranged attack..."
The knight wander's over to the edge.
"YO!!! Cannon crew fire over here, Starboard!!!"
"Hey you creepy crawly thing over here " he yells waving his sword above his head.

I get to roll as the Sea with a D20. Your score plus your mind needs to beat my roll. I update the rules with a page on Ability checks and how they work.
I have been doing a lot of clean up of the rules and working on the bots.

i dont wanna spam, i was thinking if it doesnt require on the clock daily attention maybe i could participate later, it looks like a cool thing to do
(check the post for youtube channels and later twitters and facebooks and stuff)
if you were to have any like "o i could maybe use something of an online service linked to "teh chain" for my game" i wouldnt mind if you drop a note on telegram, i got plenty of room on the morgansite and without making promises, if its useful i might give it a try (whats to lose)
