I agree with Britcoin. The last time I checked the World Gold Reserve was under 1.9 Billion Troy Ounces. With a world population of about 7.5 Billion, if Gold reserve was divided equally, it would equal a little over a quarter Troy Ounce or less than 8 grams or about what Britcoin just showed us. Gold and Silver is on sale and available. I would get it and stack it now.

Trouble with buying small 1g/fractional gold is that the premiums are much higher. Although I don't own gold, I'd rather save up and buy 1 bigger 1oz coin. I understand the benefits of having smaller fractional gold when the SHTF so now you've really confused me.... Do I save and buy 1oz or everytime I save £40(approx)buy 1g??

Fractional gold will definitely be best for a SHTF scenario I think but you have to be able to get it close to spot or it's not worth it with the high premium attached.
All good to have..That way you can cover as many scenarios as possible...but seriously food and water are important as well..
