Some coin collectors are not into toned coins since toned coins are really tarnished coins. But underneath the rainbow color is real Silver and Copper. This natural toning takes decades and can range from a desirable red/green/blue/teal to an ugly stained looking brown. If one looks closely at some black-toned Silver coins, in good lighting, many different colors of the rainbow can be seen. I pick the beauties up The Local Coin Shop for Silver Spot Price.
