Grats on the perfect grade collection coming together.
On the total opposite end of things, I collect very imperfect grades of silver coins from all over the world, because I guess I like to think of the history of their circulation. So long as they are recognisable by type and date, and they still hold most of their precious metal content, I take 'em at spot price or less, usually.
I can imagine a movie playing out for the life of a war-time coin, from mint to blood-stained rediscovery, to being graded and placed in a stack or museum. I wonder if anyone's used a coin changing hands as the plot hook of a novel! (copyright Shalinoth 2017, lol :P)
