My SteemSilverGold wrap up for April 14-19, 2018
Hope everyone had a great week and has some serious plans to RELAX this weekend.
So, once again, I am going to just go through some of the stuff I liked in case you may have missed it. It will be kind of a snap-shot of the things I saw on Steemit, and specifically #steemsilvergold, the last 6 days.
It is not all-inclusive and I 100% guarantee that I missed some good shit. But maybe I caught something you missed. And if you made a #steemsilvergold post in the last 5 or 6 days that you feel went unnoticed, or you just want to get out again, I'm fine with you dropping a link in the comments. Sort of like a resteem, but not!
Let's start with @pit-bullion and the limited edition SteemHex. By the time I publish this you will have about 4 hours to order yours before he shuts down production on this beauty. So for all you procrastinators out there................ You got p l e n t y of time! :)

I imagine most of you know of @skeptic, as he is close to two years on Steemit. The guy is a really talented artist, with a sick sense of humor and some strong opinions, three qualities I enjoy. Well he just got a new drawing tablet, and if you haven't seen any of his new stuff I think you should check it out. He also made the gif of my Steemit handle at the bottom of this post. Thanks again dude.

@silverstackeruk, a favorite writer of mine, posted this thought-provoking post. Also, can I just say here that this guys keyboard must be worn-out with all the typing he does! I really don't know how he writes all this stuff but I am glad he does.
@sevinwilson, AKA 2018 steem silver round guru, JUST posted an update on the progress of this years round pre-sale. If you have already ordered, and you think you want MORE, he is offering discount shipping! As he says, most SSG members know about this but most Steemit users most likely do not, so let's keep trying to get the word out, as pre-sales have tapered off.
@bowentroyer does a weekly family half-dollar silver hunt that looks like a lot of fun. I'm gonna have to try this.
Last, but not least, looks like @goldenarms has found his new car. I call shotgun!

Sure thing. I love the silver hunts you guys do. So let me get the process straight. I can go to my bank, make a $200 withdrawal and ask for it in half dollars? I imagine the regular half dollars all have to be wrapped back up to return them to the bank. Is that right? Anyhow looks fun, I just haven't been inside a bank in a while!
Most banks do not carry half dollars on hand. I have tried to just go to random banks and ask for half dollars. If I do that I will ask how many they have and just trade out cash for them. This is hit or miss I would say out of every 10 banks only 1 or two will have any half dollars.
What we do now is we have an outstanding order at our local bank for $1000 with of half dollars every week. They order them for us. They get weekly shipment lbs from Brinks of all the coins they need for their customers. They do not charge us anything. We go in every week exchange $1000 cash for $1000 in half dollars
We take the half dollars that we sort through to another local bank (different from the one we order from). They have a coin counting machine that is free to use. We dump all the half dollars in and get cash back. We repeat this process every week. So far it has been working.

yay! two days had passed so i wasnt sure, thank you ao much and maybe take it out ams wipe with cloth to see how it came out periodically. im not sure how long it should sit in the mixture.

Nope. Just put it away for now. May take it to the jewelry store in my town to see if they have a tip for me....
