So @raybrockman asked why as a community #steemsilvergold has been so quiet over the last few days and as a request challenged us to see how high we can stack.
So just for you my friend this is my very first time at attempting to stack all my 1oz silver in a single pile.
Although my stack is nowhere near the biggest or best, for me it represents 18months of hard work and I'm proud of what I've managed to save.
This is possibly the first time that I've actually had it all in one place at a single time. This stack doesn't include some of the Royal mint sealed items I have in my collection, such as the £20 for £20/£50&£100 or the Peter rabbit coins but it does show my 1oz collection and my newest gold addition.
What I have discovered is that the majority of my stack is made up of Britannias(2008 - 2016) with some very random(an eclectic) taste in other world coins and a lovely 1.5oz poured bar from AG Ender.

I like that Australian Crocodile, you have one of the one million minted.
My stack is incredibly random. Originally, my plan was to stack for weight. Cheap generic rounds and britannias/philharmonics were the idea, then the it all went wrong, I discovered that there were hundred of designs out there I like. So now it's pandas to Perth mint, eagles to maples and everything in between.
My experience, is that Generics', low premiums, usually, don't change much, thru the years. Where Government coins do. For example, in 2014, I picked up the Australian Crocodile for $18 (sale, $16 + $2 premium.) The next year, the series 2, 2015 Australian Spider was about the same, $18, but the Crocodile, was $31, same company. The generics' was and still is the same premium ($2) price. Many other similar examples. Many bullion Gov't coins double, triple ... Generics usually don't. I like that Libertad, too.
Get the new early, try not chase high Premiums.
