Suppose 'A' was murdered by someone. He was stabbed his stomach. Unfortunately, there was no witness and few image evidence. You may think this case will become unsolvable.
However, there is a method which let us infer what happened. It is Bloodstain analysis that help making synopsis of crime.
Scattered bloodstain was founded on the wall. Also there is a shirt got stained with blood on the floor. Plenty of bloodstain was shown near right arm and front side of shirt. We can solve where and how question by analysing blood pattern.
When blood splashed on slant plane, shape of blood appeared as ellipse. Also angle of blood's trajectory can compute by sin x. It is described as width per length. Moreover, direction is opposite side of tail.
Now we know angle and direction, So we can predict smash point by drawing more than two lines.
As we can see many bloodstains on front side and right arm, criminal may have similar height with victim.
Lastly, there were traces of something card-shaped lying on the floor and victim's handprint. [1] And there were footprints on the floor as if looking for something.[3] The victim's hands were scraped with blood.[2]
Therefore, it can be inferred that the suspect committed the crime to steal something that looked like a card that the victim was holding.
In scientific investigations, blood analysis is a basic and important clue. It is very important because we can reconstruct the case and analyze the criminal.
