Well, the Chinese are already involved. They take part of the experiments on-ongoing at CERN. Here, we are discussing about the future host of one of the potential future collider. This, things are not clear (in particular as the host is the one putting forward one of the greatest chunk of the budget). The future is unclear, for now... and we can only stay tuned.
