Clean PCB Layout: Using Marking Pen Manually

in #steemstem6 years ago

There are many ways to make your own homemade PCBs. They all work but some are better than the other, some are faster than the other, ones are cheap and others are expensive.
After the result of my manual layout, I found out that making PCBs manually can be cheap, easy, fast and clean.

With this layout of mine, it proves that layouting manually can still give a clean result. All you need is a ruler and a pointed permanent marker.

Steps:

  1. Make your schematic design in a scratch paper.
  2. Copy your design in the PCB carefully and precisely using pointed permanent marker and a ruler to straighten the connections.
  3. After layouting the PCB manually, bold the connections and dry it.
  4. Finally, etching can be done.

A clean layout was now then acquired.
