We present in this distilled our top two handpicked post choices for the last week (from a couple of hundreds of STEM-related posts on Steem). This week's distilled highlights were selected by a one-man team made of @lemouth (as usual at the moment).

Still as usual, some statistics are given at the end of this post.

Please do not be discouraged if you did not make it on this issue. The chances to be picked are low. In the meantime, you may wish to check these guidelines for extra tips on how your writing could be more effective (or ask us on Discord).

Our top choices

Organography and Plant Histology of Eichhornia crassipes (Pontederiaceae)

This week, our distilled gets botanical, with this nice post from @lupafilotaxia who enjoys sharing botanics information with the entire SteemSTEM world. The topic of the week concerns a plant named Eichhornia crassipes and available worldwide. But it was not like that before, so here are the environmental troubles. Plenty of information about this plant are provided in the post.

Nephritic Syndrome in Pediatry

Do you want to know more about kidneys and their diseases? Yes? Then please visit the post of our Venezuelan doctoral student @mike961. He is telling us a lot about a kidney disease called the nephritic syndrome that impact the kidneys in a way they cannot play their role of blood purifier properly.

It is extremely gratifying to see that socialized work is rewarded not only through the benefit of the ascending vote, but at the same time is selected within the best publications of the week (SteemSTEM Distilled # 98). Thanks for such a deep distinction.

Enhorabuena profesor Luis :D

The pleasure to read you was for us :)

Keep up the good work, and a hurra to all our curators!

We will! Trying to fix the script for the stats... grmph... it was working last week ;)

Good to see another issue of distilled! Now if I can just find some time to contribute :(

This sounds like me... Writing posts takes me so long. However, I hope to release something tomorrow (on super tiny black holes that weight less than the total amount of plastic on Earth). We will see. In any case, I would love to read something from you one of these days! ^^

Really great and educational post. I got glued to the end. Hope to read from everyone in the community.

Feel free to. A good way to start is to join the discord server and check our curation channel where you can follow each of the posts we support (and to which level we support them). Using our app, steemstem.io, is also helpful to get directly everything we support.

Welcome to SteemSTEM in any case!

Awesome work @lemouth and the team. Wish I could have been more active the last 12 months to support you guys more (and it seems there have been a few changes to the platform I need to read up on).

Everyone is very busy. I guess this is the story of the life of those still on-board :)
