Words could simply be sounds that carry the wind and fade into the distance, however when they reach the ears of someone capable of understanding them they are no longer simple sounds because although in a short time no one will be able to hear them they are recorded in the mind of the one who could interpret them as if they had the power to be written there for a while.
Once in the mind can have an effect on the person, so depending on the content of the message those words can even mark a person for life, the words are responsible for everything we see, is a much more powerful weapon than we imagine because they have the power even to make God act on our behalf.
So we have a very powerful weapon that many times we underestimate and as any weapon can be used for good or evil so are our words to the point that one day we will be accountable to God for everything we have said.
You know, now take good care of your words, think long before you speak and speak as little as you can, that will avoid many problems, but above all use words that bless, comfort and restore the lives of those who hear.
