I have the same issue. It is always hard for me to ask for funds for my work. I guess that's just something not everybody is comfortable with.
I'm sorry to hear that you removed your proposal tbh. But I'm pretty much sure there's a lot of stuff to be done in other Steem projects that can actually pay for the work. I think you're a good guy, just ask around. I'm pretty much sure people need some help.
