There are over 100 different products that have been recalled over hand sanitizer worries.
A health agency in Canada says that there are concerns of a risk of cancer that might be linked with hand sanitizers thanks to the elevated levels of impurities found in some products. Since the summer of 2020 they have recalled over 100 different hand sanitizer products from the market for one reason or another.
- Alcohol Antiseptic 80 per cent (v/v) Topical Solution Hand Sanitizer
- Fighting Spirit
- Rapid Protectant Hand Sanitizer Gel
The last one is removed for improper labelling reportedly, and the others because of possible alleged health risks that could result from “undeclared” elevated levels of acetaldehyde.

We saw when the pandemic first hit that this was one of the most in demand items and they were sold out quickly from stores around the world. It was practically impossible to find hand sanitizer for days, some it would be weeks until they could get some. Breweries transitioned quickly to try and make some sanitizer to keep up with the demand, among other companies looking to get in on making face shields and more.
There are a great deal of hand sanitizer products that have been recalled since the start of the pandemic.
Health agents have been concerned with sanitizer products that have Acetaldehyde included, which they say might allegedly increase the risk of cancer.
Another one, Benzene, has also been of concern to health authorities too which is being used in some hand sanitizer products.
The FDA has also been making moves throughout the pandemic in updating its own list of hand sanitizers which it has warned consumers to avoid in the market as well.

I heard from someone that mankind/humanity is a cancer on Earth, and nature will cure the Earth over time. I also remember when I watched the Matrix movie, Agent Smith said something like the behavior of humanity is very similar to a virus. I do not remember the exact words, but seeing how people behave, how they harm the planet, both of these sayings has some truth.
