A lot of cheap stuff is not worth the money. A laptop is likely to have a hard life. The main ones I have had have been for work and they were mostly HP. I had no real issues with them and keep the coffee well away. A reconditioned decent brand may be a better buy, but it could have less storage for the money.

I think that's the route I'm taking this time around. Honestly, they were fun and decent little machines, but for a little more you're better off with the better made higher quality brand. In a pinch though, I wouldn't hesitate to grab another one if it was all I could afford.
Used is always a good option too. Especially if you know how to work on it yourself.
