A very interesting topic, but it makes me wonder how the Igbo's were able to survive during The Biafran War.

Legend has it that things were really extreme for them in terms of feed, and they had to rely heavily on plants. Many people ascribe this notion to why the Igbo's have such a vast understanding of various domesticated leaves that can be consumed.

That's quite some new insight into the civil war. It might not be far from the truth. Broad-leaf plants generally have lower insoluble fiber compared to grasses, hence, humans can survive on them provided the antinutrient component is not overwhelming.
