If you still remember the law of supply and demands from our elementary economics; the higher the demand, the higher the price. And after all, they produce quality battery but that doesn't mean all other batteries are bad. So the more efficient the battery, the higher the cost.
This is why we need concurrences to keep the price reasonable, even with a high demand. I am sure this will come at some point!
