As usual, there is no free lunch. How much are we ready to pay for more efficiency is the question. As @greenrun said, the frontier between both may become thinner in the future, but new technologies may also emerge (and hopefully will emerge).

I'm seriously hopeful that the new technology will beat the efficiency of these two solar panels by up to 50% :D
If it does and somehow happens to take less space, that will be the dream of every renewable energy fan.
I believe this is not matter of "if it does" but "when" with the current growth rate of technology.
We are patiently waiting.
Any idea the cost of getting a good lithium battery?
I have only work with few lithium ion battery which are usually acquired by the client. A 48V 100Ah lithium battery I made enquiry on online, cost around 1500USD which is about 540,000 Naira

Yes new technologies are on the way. They especially include two-dimensional nanomaterial based solar cells. They’ll give rise to solar cells to be %100 opaque, flexible and ultralight with conversion efficiencies reaching up to %20-25s. And they will easily get fit on the commercial market with very low costs.
