He's basically taking all this money out of the steem reward pool – which takes away from the minnows – de-incentivising people to join, and even if they do . While it's all very well to say that his content is several hundred times better than everyone else's, it leads to issues with steem as a platform. Becuase after all this is a social media platform, and it needs more users to succeed.
The fact that there are a few people making lots of money makes people think that they can't succeed.
