RE: Are you a baby boomer?

Going along with our peers isn't a crime.

Unless they are treasonous criminals, too.

We wouldn't have id cards if more than half of the people weren't too numb, or dumb, to know their own rights.
That makes them a very real threat to my rights.
When they allow their rights to be violated it makes enforcing my rights that much harder.

When a cop asks me for id he violates my 5th amendment right to not participate in his 'investigation'.
I know my rights.
I also know what contempt of cop brings.

He knows that he won't be getting called on his treason, too few people understand that he even committed it, let alone know what to do when an agent of the state goes rogue.

He also knows that if I meet his threat of force with overwhelming force the general public is not on my side.
So, there I am, bleeding out on the side of the road, or freezing in a cell and rotting away slowly, all because some people are too chicken to speak up?

Really?

If you are on the porch now, you are the enemy of every freedom lover on the planet.
Your choices have consequences, whether you like them to, or not.

The choice to do nothing supports the status quo.

Sort:

You carry id, or you'd be in a cell now. Don't blame folks that do the same things you do to stay alive, especially those that don't even know it's wrong.
