Mbaru Niang traditional house, which only exist in Indonesia

Rumah Mbaru Niang is a traditional house located on the island of Flores Indonesia. Mbaru Niang traditional house is very unique cone shaped
and has 5 floors with a height of about 15 meters. Mbaru niang traditional house is very rare because it only lived a few and only found in the remote village of Wae Rebo is isolated in the mountains. The roof is made of fibers, supported by a central wooden pole, all glued with rattan and no spikes at all.

Rumah Mbaru Niang itself serves as a family residence, which is reserved for 6 - 8 families who divide
his private room in a room bulkhead on the first floor. Mbaru niang consists of five floors.

Located in the highlands, Kampung Adat Wae Rebo is one of the best coffee beans. Local people manage coffee beans in the traditional way.

Mbaru niang traditional house is very rare because there are only a few and only found in the traditional village of Wae Rebo is isolated in the mountains. The effort to conserve Mbaru Niang has been awarded the highest category of cultural heritage conservation from UNESCO Asia-Pacific 2012
