Today had a very slow start. I ( Julie ) did not want to get out of bed where I was when Abbi's aide arrived to start. The aide is here for three hours 8-11am five days of the week. I am normally up before the aide arrives. She started with care of Abbi while I woke up. Àbbi got changed while I prepared her first meal. After meal is served we prep for walking in gait trainer and get Abbi in it together. Abbi walks for one hour and does twenty laps of 100 feet each. This helps with her circulation and good health. After the walk we get Abbi ready for her shower time. The aide and I transfer her to this shower chair.
After shower body care is done. Apply lotion and treating any skin issues is done before getting dressed for the day.
Abbi makes all choices in what she wears each day. First she picks pants or shorts and what color. Then we put those on her.
Abbi then gets up in wheelchair to pick out her shirt for day, which she picks for drawer on her own. After shirt is on Abbi then puts her dirty clothes into to hamper and takes her bag of trash to kitchen trash can and shuts the lid herself. The aide leaves shortly after this and time for second meal is here. Abbi stays up with Julie in living room or where ever I go she goes.
This is Abbi's happy place. Where she hangs out at for more hours than I like. But after she is back in bed she is happy. If we could go on a real road trip she is much Happier. Right now we get to go to town once or twice a week. Our van has a bad motor in it so only a few short trips in it. No trip to town today. Plan one on Thursday this week.
Thats all for now more to come enjoy life. love and be happy to all
My heart is with you all! May I ask whats up with Abby? I am sorta wrapped up in a few projects having to do with special needs, and am trying to familiarize myself with such things. I myself am high functioning autistic. Love and respect to you all <3

Love you guys! 100 laps! Tell Gator that she walks further than I do most days!
That's 100 feet per lap a day. The goal is 80 to 100 laps per week. Still she is trying to do better than you.
